Carla, a Birmingham native, has been a proud resident of Sylacauga for the last 25 years. In addition to being and active real estate agent, she is a veteran special education teacher at B.B. Comer High School. Carla is passionate about helping others in the community. This passion fuels her desire, in the classroom with her students, and with her customers and clients as she helps them navigate through the buying and selling process.

Carla is married to Joel Bowden. She has one son Tanner Deupree, who attends Auburn University. In her free time, she enjoys playing golf, fishing, and playing cornhole. Carla’s mother, Janice Sayman, is also a licensed realtor (and her partner) with Area.
